safety awareness training | mechanical joint tensioning training
< Back to Safety Awareness Training
Mechanical Joint Tensioning training is aimed at addressing the problem of leaking joints, which are a major cause of Hydrocarbon releases creating potential safety and environmental issues. The UKOOA guidelines in this area, published in June 2002, are a source of best practice to reduce Hydrocarbon leaks and incidents. This e-Learning course was developed in conjunction with Hedley Purvis and is based on the UKOOA guidelines.

This course covers the theoretical training requirements of NSDS Unit PF015* and PF010, recommended as the minimum competence levels in the guidelines and can lead to NSDS Certification following the successful completion of a practical element.
