SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model)
All of Atlas' current e-Learning products are designed to meet the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) SCORM standards. SCORM is the recognised international standard for e-Learning developments (www.adlnet.org).
The SCORM standard defines a web-based learning content model and provides a set of interrelated technical specifications designed to meet a number of high-level criteria.

 |
Using the SCORM standard will help to ensure that should our products be required to integrate in the future with new systems, there is no requirement for a rebuild.
Quality: essential or extra?
Atlas Interactive provides best-in-class solutions, which are underpinned by openness, trust, and long-term relationships with our customers, employees, suppliers and partners. This is achieved through the continuous development of our people, our organisation, and the use of effective systems and tools to support work activities.
A key component of this policy is the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of an effective documented Quality Management System. The System is designed to suit the way we conduct our business, however, we recognise that any System requires maintenance and we actively encourage our employees and clients to identify improvements to the System.
Our Quality Management System has been set up to address the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and we are committed to achieving this accreditation during 2002.

Star Rating System
Atlas has designed a methodology that illustrates the minimum baseline look, feel and functionality that our clients can expect from the products that we deliver.
We recognise that the production of quality e-Learning requires a number of essential components, and that it can be difficult for our clients to measure how many of these components will be present in their products.
To allow fair comparisons and understanding in terms of quality and functionality of the end product, we use a system known as the Star Rating System, which allows differing levels of quality and functionality to be defined and selected for each development. |
