seismic | processing
This range of e-Learning modules provides an introduction to the science of seismic data processing. It deals with the processing of reflection seismic data from hydrocarbon exploration, which can be used for very shallow site investigations - such as placing oil rigs and engineering work - and for very deep penetrations into the earth to examine the limits of the earth's crust.
The course covers a wide range of topics, from the history of how oil was formed to Seismic Acquisition, Geometry and Processing Flows and was produced in partnership with Robertson Research.
Targeted Participants
This range is aimed primarily at geology graduates embarking upon a career in the Oil and Gas Industry who wish to gain a clearer understanding of seismic processing and data acquisition techniques.
The range is an excellent learning tool for new starts, for those who wish to refresh their knowledge or simply for personnel who wish to understand more about seismic data processing.
