SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model)

All Atlas Interactive’s current e-Learning products are designed to meet the Advance Distributed Learning (ADL) SCORM standards.  SCORM is the recognised international standard for e-Learning development (www.adlnet.org).

The SCORM standard defines a web-based learning content model and provides a set of interrelated technical specifications designed to meet a number of high-level criteria.

Using the SCORM standard will help to ensure that should our products be required to integrate in the future with new systems, there is no requirement for a rebuild.

Quality

Atlas Interactive provides best-in-class solutions, which are underpinned by long-term relationships with our customers, employees, suppliers and partners.  This is achieved by investment in these relationships and the continuous use of effective systems and tools to support work activities.  A key component of this policy is the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of an effective Quality Management System.

BS EN ISO 9001:2000

Atlas Interactive has received ISO 9001 approval from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), a leading certification body.  This certification confirms that Atlas Interactive’s Quality Management System meets the requirements of this international standard.

Independent research into the benefits of ISO 9001 shows significant benefits for companies that have achieved certification and for their customers.  These include improved planning and control, improved customer service, increased productivity and increased market share.

Investors in People

Atlas Interactive has held the Investors in People (IiP) accreditation status since August 2007.  We used IiP as a tool to measure the effectiveness of our open communication strategies and learning and development policies which resulted in Atlas meeting, and in most cases exceeding, the IiP standards.

Star System

Atlas has designed a methodology that illustrates the minimum baseline look, feel and functionality that our clients can expect from the products that we deliver.

We recognise that the production of quality e-Learning requires a number of essential components, and that it can be difficult for our clients to measure how many of these components will be present in their products.

To allow fair comparisons and understanding in terms of quality and functionality of the end product, we use a system known as the Star Rating System, which allows differing levels of quality and functionality to be defined and selected for each development.

Atlas Interactive aims to lead and participate in the emerging and established international standards for e-Learning and this is promoted alongside standardised learning content and assessment across the Oil and Gas sector.
