| This e-Learning course provides information on a range of risks and hazards associated with welding, grinding and the operation of machinery. Topics covered include the injury types that can be sustained including cuts, abrasions, crush injuries, damage to vision and hearing, burns and electrocution. The effects of vibration and hazardous substances are also discussed. The course continues to discuss what can be done to prevent accidents and the importance of using the right equipment. Guard controls, PPE and other safety devices are also covered later in the course. |
